September 17th, 2008 PT | Posted in: Stripping / Exotic Dancing |
All strip clubs in the world have something in common: they all feature naked or nearly naked dancers on stage. But even in the world of strip clubs, there is some sort of hierarchy in place.
While majority of strip clubs cater to the general public, there are those with atmospheres so exquisite, services so great, facilities so top of the line and dancers so damn attractive that the only people able get in are those with fat wallets and the capability to whip them out and empty them in one single sitting.
For a stripper, being able to work the stages of these exclusive strip clubs from all over the world, listed below in no particular order of exclusiveness, could only mean one thing: a big payday.
1. Blue Rose, Ibiza, Spain
Is onstage girl-on-girl action or sex acts (simulated of course) that involve messy stuff as champagne and whipped cream your kind of thing? Then the Blue Rose in Ibiza, Spain is the strip club for you. You may have to interact a bit more with the audience as that sort of thing is sort of the norm here, but you need not worry. The interaction is almost always respectful, and ultimately profitable.
2. Goldfingers, Melbourne, Australia
A popular destination among men of high standing whenever they do business in Australia, Goldfingers boasts of four separate areas that showcase the hottest women the Land Down Under can offer. On top of all that, it has a restaurant, poolroom and a cigar lounge, so why should these moneyed gentlemen go someplace else when they have everything they want here?
3. Seventh Heaven, Tokyo, Japan
Tokyo being the most expensive city in the world, it only makes sense that a night at this club could also leave a big hole in our pockets, but that doesn’t apply of course to the gentlemen who come here. We say gentlemen because most of them who come and see the club’s mostly European and American dancers are indeed as polite and respectful as can be, and are not predisposed to forcing drinks on dancers or demanding private dances from them. Some girls who do private shows are even the ones who take their customers’ hands and make them touch any part of their bodies, thanks to the club’s rather lax no-touching rule.
4. Crazy Horse Too, Las Vegas, Nevada
If the fact that porn superstar Jenna Jameson had her stripper beginnings here is any indication, then there really must be something special about this place. Las Vegas may be dotted with stripper clubs, but this offshoot of the original Crazy Horse of Paris sets the standard with two stages for performers and a VIP room where clients could get more up close and personal with dancers.
5. Crazy Horse, Paris, France
No list of great strip clubs would ever be complete without the original Crazy Horse in Paris. No other strip club in the world makes use of the female anatomy artistically the way it does, with its light and laser acts using the dancers’ bodies as a canvas. Then, of course, there’s the sexy sight of gorgeous women frolicking to songs and bathing on stage.
6. Scores, New York, New York
In a single evening at Scores, a Bangladeshi businessman once spent $129,626 on drinks, food and of course, the attention of dancers. These are the kind of people that frequent this Manhattan club, where people like George Clooney, Chuck Norris and many other celebrities are regulars. And you can’t blame them really. Scores, after all, has it all, from the classy atmosphere, to the great food and drinks, and best of all, great-looking girls that suit every taste.
7. Lollipops Gentleman’s Club, Daytona Beach, Florida
If only for its roster of 150 really hot dancers, this club should make this list. And celebrity regulars Wesley Snipes, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and many others would most certainly agree.
8. K5 Relax Club, Prague, Czech Republic
Despite the semantically awkward name, K5 Relax Club is a “relax” club indeed. In fact, it has everything you’ll ever want for a relaxing evening: extremely hot Eastern European women who will not only dance for you, but accompany you as you make use of their sauna, bath and massage. And did we mention that they do that while in the buff?
9. Dolls, Moscow, Russia
It’s only fitting that Moscow’s first strip club is also its most exclusive. Undeniabky elegant in all respects, the club caters to the needs of rich men of Moscow (yes, because only men with fat bank accounts can afford a night of enjoyment here) with its bevy of very beautiful Russian women performing in carefully rehearsed and spectacular shows.
10. W, Sao Paulo, Brazil
What could be more exclusive than a members-only strip club? That’s what the W in Sao Paulo is, and for good reason: they have some of the most ravishing beauties this side of the globe, most of them European-looking women.
11. Colibri, Hamburg, Germany
This club offers much more than just the sight of women stripping. It also boasts of live sex shows, something which Americans might frown on but Germans, well, they’re a different breed. The live sex, however, isn’t your typical wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am kind of affair. As far as live sex shows go, those performed in this club are done with a lot of finesse and good taste, with classical music in the background as performs do the deed.
12. Penthouse Executive Club, New York City, New York
The name says it all. Boasting a 2,000-bottle wine cellar, a celebrity-chef steak house, and a 10,000-square-foot area that can accommodate up to 400 patrons a night, the Penthouse is a pure pleasure palace. People with money gladly dive into its lush themed rooms, with names such as the “Harem”, and enjoy the attention of dancers picked from a roster of up to a hundred girls.
13. Brandi’s, Vancouver, Canada
Ben Affleck used to come here when he was making movies here, and we understand that he can’t totally help it. After all, the dancers at Brandi’s, on top of being drop-dead gorgeous, seem to be really enjoying what they’re doing, and are taken to offering neck and shoulder massages, naked. What could be better than that?
14. The Cheetah, Atlanta, Georgia
Classy. That’s what best defines The Cheetah, dubbed “Atlanta’s #1 Adult Entertainment Club”, and rightly so. On top of all the beautiful “CheetahGirls” dancing and walking around, The Cheetah operates an upscale restaurant called Alluvia right inside the club, which greatly heightens the classy atmosphere this place has to offer.
15. Treasures, Las Vegas, Nevada
All those beautiful topless women, the really fine dining and a completely remarkable wine list attract many high-rollers to this mansion-like place.

The world of porn has its own set of achievers and record-breakers. Of course, they’re not exactly the type that could get their own category in the Guinness Book of World Records, although some of the feats listed below did make it to the best-selling copyright book in the world. In any case, they’re still records and feats, and they are nothing to sneeze at.
Here are some crazy porn related world records that were gathered all over the net. Some are accurate, while some are actually unverified claims and are subject to dispute. But who cares? They’re fun to read either way.

There was a time when searching for adult material online consisted mainly of looking at free previews of adult pay sites or portals that have links that take you all over the net for just a few peeks at some rather lousy pics.
Then came Web 2.0, and surfing has never been the same again. If searching for adult content was such a laborious process 2-4 years ago, the advanced features of today’s adult Web 2.0 sites make it a much more enjoyable experience. Here are some of the best adult web2.0 sites today:
Just like YouTube, only with porn content. And it’s the highest trafficked adult website in the world. Apart from the porn videos that users can upload to the site, YouPorn also offers an online dating service, a chatroom, and video chat.
One of the fastest growing adult websites in the world, it is quite similar to YouPorn, and the videos are just as great. Maybe even better, if only for the huge but good quality clips. One neat feature is the mini-slideshow preview you can check out when you rollover the thumbnail images.
Still in development and is still SFW, for now. But if descriptions that it is basically a Twitter for adults, then this is one site to watch.
Another YouTube clone, only more entertaining. A well-designed site with on-demand Flash videos, all embeddable, and are all tagged and can be browsed via a tag cloud or by straight or gay content.
An adult content social network and user generated content site that features the work of both amateur and professional models and photographers alike.
6. Red Light Center
Modeled after Amsterdam’s Red Light District, this site allows users to make their wildest sexual fantasies come true, virtually of course. Features virtual strip shows, brothels or anything sexual that users’ fantasies can imagine.
The adult site for those who are sick and tired of all those Barbie-doll models and want something more real and radical. It boasts of more than 1500 alternative models that represent women of all sizes, races, ages and styles, and many of them have tattoos and piercings.
Considered the Flickr of user-generated porn sites. Users are encouraged to upload their own erotic photos, and each user is given 2 GB of free storage. And just like its mainstream counterpart, it has all the standard photo site functions like friends, tagging and albums.
This adult site focuses more on social networking, kind of a Facebook for porn. Users can share and broadcast their fantasies, experiences and of course, pornographic materials with each other.
Visitors can watch, rate and comment on videos for free, but the number of videos that can be watched are limited to 10 per day for non-members and 20 for members. Upgrading to a premium account at $9.99 a month gives users unlimited video streaming downloads.
Users can search, watch and download more than 60,000 videos, for free, and without limitations. Rating and reviewing functions are also available.
Huge site hosting thousands of amateur and professional clips. Dozens of straight and gay categories also make it easier for users to find what they want. And with partnerships with adult companies, users can watch DVD previews of the latest adult releases.
Basically similar to other sites with user-generated porn, but the big difference is that its videos are not embeddable. But lesser restriction on movie length and decent video quality make this porn site one of the better ones out there.
It’s your standard site packed with a lot of user-uploaded, share-ready porn clips. One unique aspect is its “VIP” component, which you can either buy or earn by contributing your own videos.
A site that focuses more on amateur and foreign porn content. Users can also contribute their own hard- and softcore videos.

Who would have thought that the Internet can be summed up in a few words, not by tech geeks, but by a musical writing pair who have gone on to win awards for their efforts. “The Internet is For Porn”, so goes the most popular song in the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical “Avenue Q” written by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, and the public—those who regularly surf at least—couldn’t agree more.
Proof of this is the fact that YouPorn.com, the highest trafficked adult website in the world, has an Alexa rating that is much higher than that of CNN’s. And with 10,280,138 visits in December 2007 according to Compete.com, YouPorn is poised to reach much greater heights this year.
But as speedy rises to the top of the Internet traffic game go, RedTube.com, a fairly new adult site, is faring rather well. According to the same Compete.com numbers, RedTube was the top gainer for December 2007, with 4,958,285 visitors.
Also making waves in Alexa rankings are PornHub.com, XTube.com and RealityKings.com, whose respective rankings of 166, 189 and 209 are higher than what that of the top newspaper in the world, The New York Times. Sneaking into the top 300 are XVideos.com, with 240; PornoTube.com, 243; and BangBros, of the notorious BangBus, with 256.
The popularity of adult websites is proof that for all the universality of the Internet, it still is dominated by the lonely and the horny, who show once and for all what the Internet really is for.
In any case, the relative newness of RedTube also shows that any one adult site could end up as one of the top websites in the world. Having good content is naturally a given, but some of these top adult sites have features and functionalities that give them a leg up over the competition. One such feature is that members can comment on videos, as well as review and rate pictures and clips. The said features allow for lots of user interaction, and lots of user interaction also means more activity for the site. Smaller websites can take a cue or two from these top adult sites, and soon they might just find themselves at the top of the Internet game. The online world, after all, could only crave for porn, porn and more porn.

Sure, they may not be your typical big shot like Bill Gates or any of the Waltons. Far from it. But the people listed below are big shots just the same, ruling a multibillion-dollar industry that only seems to be growing and growing with each passing day. And anyone interested in a career in adult entertainment would do well to get on the good side of these people. They are, after all, the moguls of the adult industry, and if you’re in the business and regularly bump into them, that could only mean one thing: you’ve made it.
1. Hugh Hefner
Countless men have dreamt of living the life that Hugh Hefner has led. After all, this is the man who is currently dating three Playboy Playmates simultaneously at the age of 81. But behind the sexual revolutionary lies a man who has built one of the biggest and most recognizable names (and logos) in adult entertainment, and it will be long before any one adult entertainment company can reach the same heights that Playboy has so successfully scaled in its more than five decades of existence.
2. Larry Flynt
Being trapped in a wheelchair due to an assassin’s bullet didn’t stop Larry Flynt from doing what he does best: churn out porn. To this day, Flynt is still very much involved in the day-to-day operations of Larry Flynt Publications, which continues to publish such magazines and create video titles such as Hustler and the Barely Legal series, which gave rise to some of the most popular starlets in the industry today.
3. Steve Hirsch
Forbes has already dubbed Steve Hirsch “The Porn King”, and we’re not about to argue with that. Hirsch is top dog over at Vivid Entertainment, the world’s largest adult film producer, with an estimated $100 million a year in revenue. He is also known for employing the old Hollywood contract star system into the business, and its contract stars, collectively known as the Vivid Girls, are some of the most popular performers in the industry.
4. Marc Bell
Acquiring Penthouse Media Group Inc. in 2004 makes Marc Bell one of the top porn moguls out there, whether he likes it or not. Bell, a financier who made his name in mainstream business, has often been referred to as an accidental porn mogul since he bought the Gucciones out. Now, however, he has professed big plans for his adult industry venture: he is planning to take the company public in the next few months, and predicted that his company would be “four times the size of Playboy” if and when that happens.
5. Steve Orenstein
Steve Orenstein is the founder of Wicked Pictures, one of the biggest adult entertainment companies today. He is also the genius behind Wicked’s partnership with eventual porn superstar Jenna Jameson in the early 90s, a move which eventually put both Jameson and Wicked Pictures at the top of the adult entertainment world.
6. Joe Francis
Joe Francis may not be producing hardcore titles the way Steve Hirsch et al do, but he pulls in hardcore porn-sized revenues just the same. His Mantra Films, which produces the wildly successful Girls Gone Wild and Guys Gone Wild DVD series, has recorded sales of over $100 million per year, making Francis one of the biggest success stories in adult entertainment, legal troubles notwithstanding.
7. David Joseph
David Joseph and his company, Red Light District will forever be associated with one of the best-selling adult videos of all time, 1 Night in Paris. But while, distributing the Paris Hilton sex tape and a host of other celebrity sex tapes put Red Light District in the spotlight, it is primarily known as a producer of premium quality hardcore gonzo videos. And at the helm of it all is Joseph, who took over after Red Light co-founder Dion Giarrusso, who also happens to be his brother, left the company.

It seems like eons have already passed since you last rummaged through your big brother’s porn stash and got to know these women, who have starred in some of the most memorable hardcore films ever made. Ever wondered what became of them?
1. Bambi Woods
Bambi Woods is perhaps one of the most, if not the most enigmatic porn star of them all. After catapulting to fame as a cheerleader in Debbie Does Dallas and doing two sequels, she mysteriously dropped off the radar. Rumors of her eventual fate ranged from her appearing in strip joints across the United States to dying of a drug overdose in 1986, but none of these were ever confirmed. Then, in May 2007, the website Yesbutnobutyes published an interview purportedly that of Woods, where she claimed to be “financially well-off”, and living with her husband of more than two decades and their two teenage children somewhere in California.
Still, the interviewer admitted in a postscript that he’s not really certain that it was really Woods he was talking to, that he could have very well been suckered into a hoax. So, to this day, the real fate of Debbie remains a big question mark.
2. Ashlyn Gere
Ashlyn Gere belonged to that rare breed of porn stars who have managed to get mainstream jobs while still appearing prominently in hardcore films. Basic Instinct and Indecent Proposal had her as a body double, and she also landed roles in TV shows such as Space: Above and Beyond, Silk Stalkings and Millennium. One of the most enthusiastic performers in porn during her heyday, Ashlyn, 48, has hung up her porn shoes for good in the early 2000s, and is now living and working in Texas as real estate agent. She also has one child with producer/director Marshall Patton, with whom she has been married for twenty years.
3. Nina Hartley
Long before Jenna Jameson, there was Nina Hartley, one of the earliest porn stars whose name is a registered trademark. At 48, she is still very much active in the adult business, due to the demand for MILF porn. Apart from doing mainstream projects like the 1997 film “Boogie Nights”, she also directs porn videos these days, as well acts as a spokesperson for the industry as a whole, even appearing on Oprah defending her chosen profession. she also runs her own website.
4. Asia Carrera
Arguably the most intelligent pornstar ever (she’s a member of MENSA, and was a full academic scholar at Rutgers University), Asia Carrera has since retired from porn in 2003, and got married to a nutritionist named Don Lemmon that very same year. When she was 8 months pregnant with their second child, Lemmon was killed in a car accident near Las Vegas in June 2006. His death threw her into a financial crisis, but she soon got back on her feet thanks to Lemmon’s life insurance policy.
The following month, she gave birth to their son Devin at home, unassisted.
She continues to run her own website, but she has since stated that she doesn’t plan on making a porn comeback.
5. Ginger Lynn
Ginger Lynn found herself doing mainstream projects after quitting the business in 1986. She was in Young Guns II, The Devil’s Rejects, American Pie Band Camp, and National Lampoon’s Van Wilder the Rise of Taj. Ginger also took on TV roles, appearing in such shows as Silk Stalkings and NYPD Blue. Among her most memorable turns was in the music video for the Metallica song “Turn the Page”.
In 1999, she decided to return to porn via three movies, Torn, White Lightning, and New Wave Hookers 6. Then she teamed up with fellow porn legend Christy Canyon in 2006, hosting Playboy Radio’s Sirius Satellite Radio show, Night Calls Radio.
Recently, the now-44-year-old Ginger did a hardcore scene with boyfriend, veteran porn stud Mark Davis, for the site Kink.com.
Believe it or not, the legendary Seka is still very much active in the porn industry. She actually retired from doing scenes in the early 90s and took on the roles of porn industry advocate, talk show host and documentary film maker. But in a February 2007 interview with Pitch magazine, based in Kansas City where she has been residing since 2005, Seka announced that she had just shot her first hardcore scene in nearly 15 years, at age 52. The scene was to be available on-line through pay-per-view.
7. Marilyn Chambers
Marilyn Chambers, star of the 1972 porn classic Behind the Green Door, left the industry in 1976. She decided to do hardcore again in 1980, but retired once more in 1982, opting to do R-rated movies. Seventeen years later, she returned to the porn fold and has stayed since, continuing to appear in productions for such companies as Naughty America and MILF Hunter.
8. Christy Canyon
While officially retired from performing in adult films, the voluptuous Christy Canyon hasn’t really said goodbye to porn. She maintains her own website, as well as co-hosts Night Calls on Playboy Radio with Ginger Lynn. Canyon also acted as judge on the first episode of the pay-per-view reality series Jenna’s American Sex Star.
9. Kay Parker
Kay Parker, who played the incestuous mother in the porn classic Taboo, retired from the industry in 1998 after making a total of 68 movies. She is now, of all things, a New Age metaphysical counselor and lecturer, as well as author of the 2001 autobiographical book Taboo: Sacred, Don’t Touch.
Parker also appeared in the 2005 independent film Dick Ho: Asian Male Porn Star, playing herself.
10. Amber Lynn
Amber Lynn is still very much active in the business. While she has retired from the business twice, she eventually returned to making hardcore films. With the demand for MILF–themed movies on the rise, Amber, now 44, still appears in films from time to time, doing productions for Naughty America such as My Friend’s Hot Mom and My First Sex Teacher.

How much do porn stars make? This question is the one that is probably foremost in the minds of those who are trying to break into the world of adult entertainment. And just as the pay scales of those in mainstream show business vary, the salaries of those who make careers out of having sex in front of a camera—and an entire crew for that matter—also differ due to one factor or another.
There are a few general truths in porn. One of them is that female performers get paid more than the men. Newbie girls usually make something like $400-700 for a boy/girl scene, while guys start off with about $50 to $250 per scene. But then again, a lot of guys say they’d do it for free just for the chance to get it on with all these gorgeous women on camera, so that makes perfect sense.
There are, of course, other factors that producers consider when gauging how much they should pay a certain starlet. One is looks. Naturally, girls who are drop-dead gorgeous tend to get offered more money. Then there’s age, although the popularity of MILF or Cougar videos these days give older performers the chance to earn as much as the 18-23-year olds do.
Another deciding factor is how far a starlet is willing to go as far as onscreen sex is concerned. Generally, performers who only do, say, solo masturbation scenes get paid about $200-400 per, while those willing to do DP scenes could get as much as $1000-2500. The point is, the more hardcore stuff you do, the more cash you’re going to get.
Of course, a porn star’s fee won’t always stay that way. Sooner or later a certain starlet becomes popular, her videos sell like hotcakes and she starts to appear in major skin mags, then she can ask for more. Better yet, she could become a contract star with the major porn studios, and could earn upwards of a hundred grand a year, probably even more.
The biggest names in porn, however, are an entirely different story. Hillary Scott, for example, has just signed a $1 million deal with SexZ Pictures in what is billed as “the largest porn contract in history”. While it’s actually a four-year deal, Scott is still guaranteed $250,000 annually, which isn’t exactly chump change for a relatively new porn star.
Then, of course, there are the superstars like Jenna Jameson and Tera Patrick. While the former may have already retired from performing, she still pulls in millions upon millions of dollars through ClubJenna, the porn company she founded with her ex-husband Jay Grdina. The latter, on the other hand, is still performing, but she is treading the same road as Jameson by the owner, president and lead star of Teravision, a $30 million-plus company.
Who knows, you could be the next Jenna or Tera someday.

As the adult film industry becomes more and more mainstream, porn studios are also starting to adopt mainstream business practices as well. One such practice is that when hiring porn talent, few go through recruiters anymore, because either they already have their own staffing/casting people to look for talent for them, or they turn to the many adult modeling agencies to provide quality talent for their projects.
However, that doesn’t mean that you don’t have a place in the porn talent recruitment business anymore because, let’s face it, it’s just not possible for any one porn studio or talent agency to spot all the hot, young and willing talent out there, is it? For all you know, the next Jenna Jameson or Tera Patrick could just be living next door to you.
So how do you start out finding quality talent? Placing ads in alternative newspapers in your area or adjacent larger cities is a good idea. Or better yet, you can advertise for beautiful young girls who are willing to make a career in porn in the “adult gigs” section of Craigslist.
Still, nothing beats going out and looking for them yourself. Among the good areas to personally spot good porn talent is at strip clubs. In fact, many of the biggest names in porn today had their start in the adult entertainment industry by stripping.
But your search for quality porn talent should not be limited to strip clubs or any such establishment in the skin trade. It is the world’s worst-kept secret that many of the top porn stars today were discovered right there in the street, in the mall, in hotel elevators, in casinos, in colleges or just about everywhere.
So if you think a pretty girl you just spotted in a diner or a club has the qualities necessary to make it in the adult film business, approach her nicely and be upfront about your intentions to prove that you are all business. Of course, a disgusted look, an invective or two, or worse, a slap in the face is a risk that comes along with the job. Out of 40 or 50 people you approach, you probably could bump into at least one who would be willing to embark on a porn career.
But recruiting adult talent is more than just searching for a pretty face and a hot body. When someone finally shows interest in your offers, you have to determine what her performing limitations are. This is simply because the pay scale, and therefore your cut, depends on what she’s willing to do in front of a camera. As far as newbies in porn are concerned, the more hardcore the act, the bigger the paycheck.
Now a lot of people would definitely condemn the practice of many porn scouts of having their discoveries perform with them on a “promotional” or “demo” tape, which they then hawk to prospective producers. Unethical-sounding as it may be, the practice seems to be a very good way to gauge how uninhibited (obviously, a must for aspiring porn stars) and good at sex your find could be. As scouts doing this have been saying, how could these girls perform with strangers on tape on a regular basis if they have qualms about doing it with them? Not exactly a recommended practice, but it does make sense somehow.
But of course, before doing anything like this, it is recommended that you do safety checks. And by safety checks we mean health checks, as well as age checks, to determine that the girl you’re recruiting is of legal age. You don’t really want to end up with another Traci Lords, do you?

There is no doubt that sex sells. In advertising, for example, companies have taken to featuring bikini-clad women or shirtless guys with six-pack abs for products that don’t really call for such imagery such as ice cream and cell phones. Stupid movies could become hits if it has a beautiful foreign exchange high school student stripping inside a classmate’s room while the whole town ogles her through a webcam. If even a hint of sex in just about anything could help rake in the cash, imagine what the payday would be when the business is all about sex itself.
Whether we admit it or not, the business of sex is a lucrative one. Just take a look at these 10 adult businesses that rake in cash and you just might want a crack at any of these yourself to get your hands on some.
Now a multi-billion dollar industry that made porn stars such as Jenna Jameson and Tera Patrick multi-millionaires. Enough said.
2. Strip Clubs
Though strip club owners don’t really earn as much as producers of porn do, it’s still good business, as a typical strip club in a small city have revenues of $1-2 million a year. You can just imagine the income an individual strip club in a city like, say, Las Vegas, generates in a year.
3. Escort Services
Escort services charge by the hour, and the usual arrangement is a 50-50 split between the agency and the escort. So if an escort charges $1000 an hour for four hours on the job, that would mean $2000 each for both parties. Of course, an escort agency doesn’t just have one escort on its roster, does it? Multiply that figure by the number of escorts on the job and you’ve got the money rolling in.
4. Phone Sex and Adult Chat Lines
If a phone sex company has just 1000 calls per day averaging 12 minutes each at $1.99 per minute, that would be $23,880.00 per day! That means there are 200 hours of conversation happening per day, and that would require 25 operators working an 8-hour shift each day. If operators are paid $25.00 per hour for those 200 hours, that would mean shelling out only $5,000 dollars a day for labor. Minus $3,880 per day for all types of other expenses, the company is still left with a net profit of $15,000 per day. If $450,000 a month or more than $5 million a year isn’t your idea of mega cash, then we don’t know what is.
5. Adult Site Web Design and Developers
On average, adult web designers and developers charge clients $2000 for each website package. With thousands of online entrepreneurs looking to jump on the profitable Internet porn bandwagon every single day, adult web designers and developers are assured really good business for years to come.
6. Sex Toys
The sex toy industry, much like the porn industry in general, has been experiencing non-stop growth in the last few years. In 2006 alone, the American sex toy industry had revenues of $1.5 billion. And with the Internet providing more opportunities to reach a wider market, the sex toy industry could only get bigger.
7. Adult hotels/motels
Your typical adult hotel/motel charges anywhere from $30 to $200 for just a few hours, depending on the quality of the place. Multiply that by the number of rooms that motel has and the astronomical number of people who want to their thing in private and away from their homes, and you’ve got a really good business going on here.
8. Web Cam Site Operator
Many web cam site operators make $100-500 a day. Imagine what it would be like if you have a company with, say, 50 web cam site operators under your wing. That’s raking in cash, if anything.
9. Adult content providers
Adult content providers are some of the most important components of the billion-dollar Internet porn industry. Without them, Internet porn wouldn’t exist in the first place, and no one would be earning millions upon millions today.
10. Foreign Marriage Agency
Running a foreign marriage agency or mail-order bride or dating sites is one of the most lucrative businesses in the Internet today. There’s one Dallas-based agency that reportedly charges its customers $10,000 each so they could meet five women in their roster. Pretty profitable indeed.
